It is the supreme judicial organ of the United States and located in Washington, D.C. Completed in 1935, the architectural design of the U.S. Supreme Court is reminiscent of a Greek temple with U-shaped wings on both sides. The building is decorated with numerous sculptures, columns and an impressive bronze entrance portal. The main corridor is known as the Great Hall. Here, rows of monolithic marble columns rise to form a cassette ceiling.
